Why India Inspires

I am an educational administrator, wife, mother, and woman of faith. Within
the first few years in the classroom, I took education by storm through my boisterous personality, dynamic presence, and influential connections within the community. I am redefining how we make connections and build relationships in this twenty-first century. My rhetoric serves to break down cultural, racial, gender, and socio-economic barriers. Despite being a self-proclaim introvert, it only takes moments to see why I am a magnet to the masses.
Fifteen years ago, I was tempted to give in to my stay at home mother's life. Together with my husband, music producer Alphonzo Smith, we are raising four boys. Over time I was tempted to allow my journey as a young non-degreed mother, with low self-worth, fear, and insecurities to guide the sails of my life. It was at my lowest point of faith and hope did I realize that I faced extinction if I didn’t progress.
The process of evolving from worthless and fretful into a dynamic presence wherever I stood, begin with my why. Knowing my why mapped out a path that took patience, discipline, grit, and spiritual growth. It is my commitment to incite a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that focuses on personal development at all stages in life, creating a community of individuals that are educated, esteemed and empowered to reach their full potential.
