Today I will behave as if its the day I will be remembered
India Smith is an educational administrator, wife, mother, and woman of faith. Within her first few years in the classroom, she took education by storm through her boisterous personality, dynamic presence, and influential connections within the community. India is redefining how we make connections and build relationships in this twenty-first century. Her rhetoric serves to break down cultural, racial, gender, and socio-economic barriers. Despite being a self-proclaim introvert, it only takes moments to see why she’s a magnet to the masses.
Fifteen years ago, she was tempted to give in to her stay at home mother life. Together with her husband music producer Alphonzo Smith, they two are raising four boys. Over time she was tempted to allow her journey as a young non-degreed mother, with low self-worth, fear, and insecurities guide the sails of her life. It was at her lowest point of faith and hope did India realize that she faced extinction if she didn’t progress.
The process of evolving from worthless and fretful into a dynamic presence wherever she stood begin with her why. Knowing her why mapped out a path that took patience, discipline, grit, and spiritual growth. It is her commitment to incite a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that focuses on personal development at all stages in life, creating a community of individuals that are educated, esteemed and empowered to reach their full potential.
